About

They say “variety is the spice of life”, and fortunately for myself, I’ve had plenty - over the past decade, I've had a whirlwind of experiences in Product Design, UX Design, Architecture, Tertiary Education, and Photography.

Currently, I'm finding my groove as a Product Designer, and I absolutely love it! It's like all my skills and interests have found their happy place. Looking back at my journey, one thing has always been at the heart of my design approach – humans. Because, regardless of the industry or medium, I'm all about making things that work beautifully for people.

Problem-solving and turning ideas into reality?

That's my bread and butter.

So whether you're in Melbourne, or open to remote work from Mars, I'm ready to collaborate and cook up some design magic.

Outside of Work

Beyond the design world, I've got a sweet spot for vintage film cameras - and collecting and geeking out over them is my not-so-secret guilty pleasure. If you ever want to see the world through my lens, check out my photography adventures. 📸

Let's connect and chat about design, photography, or anything under the sun. Cheers to creativity and good vibes!

My Story

Prior to getting to this point, I've worn many hats – from the architectural realm to the academic arena, and even dabbling in photography. This diverse background has instilled in me the values of lifelong learning, self-improvement, and constant evolution.

I decided to take a pause from working within an architectural practice to teach. Teaching architecture and design at university kept me grounded and reminded me of the importance of humility, empathy, and understanding diverse needs and motivations. That's why mentoring and collaborating with others continue to be a driving force in my life.

Architecture taught me the art of “considering the bigger picture”.

Photography whispered the joy of staying playful and seeing the world through the eyes of a child.

Being a mentor and teacher urged me to be patient and empathetic, nurturing growth in others.

So, I made the leap from designing physical structures to crafting digital experiences. Why? Because user-centered design is the sweet spot where I get to blend my love for creative problem-solving, visual design, research, and storytelling. But above all, it's about collaborating and considering the needs of people, because that's where the magic truly happens!
